Our Story

Vixn was born in 2017, with a budget of just £2,000. I was working as a full-time PT at the time but female bodybuilding wasn't as common as girls were afraid to lift weights in case it made them look 'manly'. This combined with the lack of good quality and diverse female fitness wear, motivated me to create my own brand to empower women to feel strong and confident and to love training. At first, I mainly sold to clients and members of the gym I worked at and over the next few years it remained a very small side hustle as my fiancé and I went travelling around Australia – and I had very little time or money to invest in it.

 Fast forward to January 2021, I decided that it was now or never. I needed to make Vixn my priority and try to grow the brand. I had recently moved to Brighton (UK) and for the first time in my life, I felt like I belonged. A city full of life, colour, energy, positivity, and happiness, everything I wanted Vixn to embody. In Brighton people wear whatever they want, free from judgement, and I loved this, I could finally wear outfits that made me excited rather than trying to fit in.

 Inspired by this, I decided to try something different and release a retro collection, something dear to my heart as I LOVE everything 80s & 90s. I knew it was a risk as it was very niche and I wasn’t sure how people would respond to it, but creating a collection I was truly passionate about felt worth it. Two years later, it has shaped Vixn into what it has become, releasing bold and exciting collections that you won’t find anywhere else. 

We embody vibrancy, positivity, passion, happiness, and fun! We are designed for those who love life, who don’t conform to the norm, and who are born to stand out.

 Last year I had a beautiful baby girl, which has made running a business even more challenging, but I am so grateful for this wonderful community and how loving and supportive you all are.

We are still a very small business but we are growing each day and we are so excited about what the future holds. Thank you to all of you who have supported us along the way.
