The most important thing I have learnt throughout my fitness journey is to train with intention. Being aware of what you are doing and why has an extremely significant effect on progress, and what I stress more than anything to all my clients.

Weight training is an internal process, it is not just shifting the weight from one position to another. People often come to the gym and think that the heavier they go the better and that you need to pile on the weight to see results. However, it is not about how much weight you are lifting, yet how much tension the muscle is under.
